Lancaster rallies against Hawks

LANCASTER - The Lancaster Eagles came back from a two-game deficit to defeat Knight High School and stay unbeaten in Golden League volleyball.

The Eagles (3-0 in league, 4-2 overall) dropped the first two games 11-25 and 16-25 before winning the last three, 25-20, 25-18, 15-7 on Tuesday.

Even though the Hawks never gave up, Lancaster was able to gain the upper hand in the third game with the efforts of Roxy Neely and Seferina Starks. Both had 13 kills and Neely served 10 aces. Jessica Thomas from Knight had 13 kills.

Knight fell to 0-3 in league, 5-5 overall.

The Hawks will play Antelope Valley High School on Thursday.
