Bishop 3, Desert 1BISHOP - Despite Brianna Lawrence hammering 13 kills, four blocks, and three aces, Desert could not overcome a tense atmosphere to defeat Bishop, losing their second HDL match and dropping into second place.
Setter Lindsey Lewis had four kills and 35 assists for the Scorpions.
Tensions were so high that a referee walked out in the middle of the match, leaving the remainder to be played with only one referee. ____________________________________________________________________________________________

LEBEC - Mojave's Ashley Marroquin had 10 kills, seven assists and 22 digs but the Mustangs couldn't get a victory over Frazier Mountain, losing 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-19.)
Mojave will be playing an away game against Bishop on Thursday at 5 p.m.
LANCASTER - Quartz Hill continued its Golden League dominance with a 3-0 victory over Eastside (25-9, 25-11, 25-12).
Quartz Hill's Kara Sherrard led the Rebels with 10 kills with teammate Khaliah Burnley had seven kills.
LITTLEROCK - Littlerock's Nikki Castrellon led the Lobos to a victory with 22 kills along with teammate Priscilla Hall who had four kills and four blocks.
"I have a lot of respect for Palmdale and we made a lot of mistakes during the game but, a win is a win," said Lobos coach Teri Watts.
PALMDALE - Lancaster's Alectra Edison had 15 kills to help her team shutdown the Hawks. Heather Black had eight kills and four aces for the Eagles.
PALMDALE - Kalyn Hardcastle's three ace, five kills and one block of the Lopes was not enough for a victory over Highland as the Antelopes lost to the Bulldogs, 25-23, 25-19, 25-16.
