Volleyball Players Are Serious About College - Local Players in College - 2008 In 2003, former SMBC club member Trisha Bratford was a scholarship player for the Minnesota Gophers, who made it to the Final Four. Minnesota upset the Stanford team to play in the regional finals at Long Beach, and Trisha (a junior) made the match-winning kill.
